Why did you choose NETS over another engineering school? Over another major?
Interested in Computer science, economics, engineering, and NETS combines them all, it’s cutting edge, fresh. You don’t learn about cloud computing anywhere else, it’s one of a kind.
How did you become interested in this stuff?
I learned code sophomore year while working on a high-school project, then worked on website for school lit mag. It wasn’t a whole lot, high school gave a taste, wanted to learn more.
How would you describe the program to your friends and family who may not be familiar with it?
It’s a blend of computer science, behavioral economics and math. You look at math problems, or social problems, and apply algorithms to them.
